Church Street

Challenge

The City of Orlando sought to beautify Church Street, a popular pedestrian corridor, for sporting events through a blighted section of downtown Orlando.

Client City of Orlando
Location Orlando, FL
Budget $6,950,000
Schedule Apr 2013 - Jan 2016

Scope of work

We revitalized 2,700 linear feet of streetscape with storm and utilities, themed street lighting, walkways, crosswalks, and a faux bridge. To provide minimal impact to the overall site, we completed the construction in phases.

Result

The result was revitalized pedestrian access to a frequently-walked section of downtown.
