Overview
Sarasota County contracted us to design-build almost 11 miles of Legacy Trail. The project had a limited budget, a large shopping list, and limited resources.

Solution
As the single point of responsibility for the project, we constructed 10.75 miles of 12’ wide asphalt bike trail, 6 pedestrian bridges, 11 rest stations, arsenic remediation, landscaping, fencing, and new water and reclaim water mains.
Through the use of design-build delivery, contingencies, and allowances, the entire scope of work was completed for the original budgeted amount.
