Solution
The scope of work entailed milling and resurfacing 37,197 square yards of roadway and sidewalks, 14,290 linear feet of granite curb work, drainage improvements, signage installation, pavement marking, and landscaping.
Throughout this process, we worked with owners and businesses to develop work phases and plans to minimize impacts and reduce the risk of damage to historical structures.
Result
During the process, Gibbs & Register value engineered the scope of work for additional cost savings. The project enhanced the appearance of the pedestrian corridor in a historical section of Ybor while maintaining historical elements.
